Packing, packing, packing.  And organizing, separating, folding, washing, etc. 

I’ve got laundry soap, a first-aid kit, a cooler, shorts, sunscreen, bug spray, flip-flops and my trusty hiking boots, along with a water canteen, a hat, a camera and tripod, and a road atlas extraordinaire.  Not to mention a pretty dress and a pair of killer heels (bought on super sale!) for those inevitable nights out on the town. 

My car has been serviced, driver’s license updated to my current state and address, and I finally learned how to use that newfangled contraption called cruise control.

So now, I sit and wait for Tuesday. 

… Tuesday is really very far away.
